The American Lebanese Policy Institute, Political Action Committee (ALPI PAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Marina Mitri as the Treasurer. With an impressive background in political science, entrepreneurship, and a commitment to empowering women, Mrs. Mitri brings a wealth of experience to the ALPI PAC.
Marina Mitri holds a master’s degree in political science from the Lebanese University in Beirut. She is not only a business owner and entrepreneur at Marina Skincare but also the founder and president of Evolve Adult School, a 501(c)3 organization registered in California and Evolve in Lebanon, registered with the Ministry of Interior, dedicated to empowering women in Lebanon. Her advocacy for human rights and efforts against human trafficking have earned her recognition from the United Nations Statistics Division.
In addition to her role with the ALPI PAC, Marina has held various positions in prominent organizations, including the Lebanese Cultural Women Society, World Cultural Lebanese Universal, and currently serves as a board member of Our New Lebanon. Her commitment to community and cultural organizations is further exemplified by her membership and board position in the Lebanese Ladies Cultural Society and Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.
Marina is married to George Mitri and is a proud mother of two children, Paloma and Giovanni. Her dedication to social causes and extensive experience make her a valuable addition to the ALPI PAC.
The ALPI PAC is confident that Marina Mitri’s expertise and passion for community engagement will contribute significantly to the PAC’s mission and objectives.
